Ivory and Lead Online Art Competition
PROSPECTUS
ABOUT
Ivory and Lead is an online art competition awarding cash prizes to artists working in traditional 2D media. We believe in the value of art creation. That's why paintings, drawings, and sketches are eligible for prizes, including a grand prize of $1000. Contests run bi-monthly (every 2 months) and winners are announced one month following contest-end.
ELIGIBILITY
All original work completed in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, gouache, conté, charcoal, graphite, encaustic, and ink as well as various types of etching like lithography and scratchboard is eligible for entry. Original work comprises work created from your own copyrighted photography or original composition. Work previously entered in competitions or sold is still eligible for entry. ENTERING YOUR IMAGES
There is a one-time registration fee of $25 and a fee of $15 per entry, handled through www.OnlineJuriedShows.com

For best results, make sure your image is 1920 pixels @72 dpi on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please contact info@onlinejuriedshows.com or call 949-287-8645.
JURORS
Jurors are announced before each bi-monthly competition and are chosen based on their knowledge and experience of 2D fine art. In the event of a juror cancellation, entrants will be alerted to a substitute via the Ivory and Lead website.

- subject matter including arranged and inanimate objects
- Best Figure or Portrait- $100
- subject matter including the human form
- Best Abstract- $100
- subject matter including abstract subjects
- Best Newcomer-$100
- work completed by an artist working for 5 years or less
- *Awards to international entrants will be paid through Paypal
RULES
- By entering, you attest that the work submitted is your own original work.
- Only 2D paintings, drawings, and etchings are eligible; this is not currently a competition for digital art or photography.
- By entering, you agree to have your work published on IvoryandLead.com
- Your signature must be clearly visible in the photographed artwork.
- To be eligible for a contest cycle, you must enter your images before 12:00 am EST of the deadline date. Entries submitted after will automatically be entered into the subsequent contest cycle.
- Work that has been submitted to other contests and shows and/or sold is still eligible for entry.
- Work that has won awards in the Ivory and Lead Artist Competition cannot be resubmitted in the winning category.
- There is no entry number limitation (you may submit as many entries as you like).
- Entries deemed inappropriate will not be accepted.
- To be eligible, you must register and submit your images through onlinejuriedshows.com
- Awards will be paid through Paypal to winners outside of the contiguous US.
- In the event of a change in juror, notification will be provided via IvoryandLead.com
- Contest will run bi-monthly, except in the case of insufficient entry. In case of insufficient entry, the contest deadline may be moved to ensure payment of prize awards.
- If the contest deadline is moved, entrants will be notified via IvoryandLead.com
- By entering, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ivory and Lead, LLC.
