60th Anniversary Exhibition Details


Artists of all levels, working in all mediums are invited to enter up to six works into our annual juried member’s exhibition. In this, the Sedona Arts Center’s 60th Anniversary year, we are expanding the venue to represent more artists and more individual works by mounting the exhibition in our Theatre Gallery with additional movable walls and pedestals as needed. We will feature an opening reception on the First Friday of the show and special 60th Anniversary Creativity Awards will be given to select pieces of art. Now is your chance to jury into this established and much anticipated exhibit.

Calendar: Timeline of events
Entries Due:  January 31, 2018
Notification:  February 9, 2018
Take-In of Artwork:  Tuesday February 27, 2018 from 9 am to Noon in the Theatre of the Art Barn.
•    If you are shipping work in it must arrive by Friday February 23, 2018 with return packaging & postage provided.
•    All artwork must be marked on the back/or bottom with Artist Name and Title.
First Friday Reception:  Friday March 2, 2018
Take Down / Pick Up:  Sunday March 25, 2018

Current membership with the Sedona Arts Center is required and can be purchased at the time of entry. All artwork must be original by the artist, completed within the last two years and must be for sale. Works previously exhibited at the Sedona Arts Center are not eligible for the exhibition. Wall art must be properly wired ready for hanging upon delivery. Wall art including frame or outside dimensions of wall hangings, cannot exceed 1280 sq. inches (any combination of height x width).

For Current Members:  There is a $10 non-refundable entry fee per art piece submitted.

A maximum of 6 pieces may be entered for consideration.  All entry fees must be paid by the entry deadline.

Entering Your Images
Online entry will be conducted through Online Juried Shows.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.

Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.  Images should be PC compatible in JPEG format, RGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:  If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please write to:

No changes to title, size or sales price of juried-in artwork will be permitted. Be sure the framed size and sales price are correct on your Entry Form. Print a copy of your Entry Form for reference.

A specially selected panel of three local jurors from the arts community will jury entries into the show and determine awards. Each juror will select a number of works for 60th Anniversary Creativity Awards.

This year we are not judging by categories but only by quality and creativity of artwork. All artists of any level of experience are welcome to submit work.

Sedona Arts Center will retain a 50% commission on all sales except Bronze Sculpture which will be 60/40%. All entries must be available for purchase and bear a sale price determined by the submitting artist. Payment for artwork sold occurs in the month following the sale.

•    Cash prizes will be awarded for three works by each of the three jurors. (9 awards).
•    People’s Choice Award at the end of the show. No monetary attachment, just bragging rights.

Images of accepted artwork may be used for promotional purposes. By entering this show the artist consents to promotional use of their accepted artwork. A list of accepted artists will appear on our website and social media pages.




REGARDING JURY NOTIFICATIONS:  Notifications are sent through ConstantContact from  To ensure receipt of this notification, please add to your contact list, or safe senders’ list.

On the day of notification, you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from ConstantContact, that will state the same.

1.      Go to and log in using your email address and password.

2.      Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile."  You are now in Your account!

3.      Click the show name and you will see your first image.  The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.

4.      As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show."  Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter."  The letter will then be displayed below.

5.      If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.

6.      While you are in your account on, click "Personal Info" and make sure your name, address, phone number, and email address are up-to-date.


NOTE:  Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety.  Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
