QUALIFICATIONS
One must be an active Artist, Out-of-State Artist, Mentor Program or Signature Artist Member of the California Art Club to be eligible to apply for A Journey Along the California Coast.

SUBJECT
In celebration of the publication of the second California Art Club book by Skira Rizzoli – Painting California: Seascapes and Beach Towns – this exhibition will feature imagery of the same genre in the Old Mill exhibition A Journey Along the California Coast. We are looking for artwork that focuses on classic beach imagery of the coast, ideally along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, from Mendocino to San Diego. Some possible landmarks include Cannery Row, 17 Mile Drive, Hearst Castle, Santa Monica Pier, Crystal Cove and Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, etc.

During the fall/winter exhibition, we will also host a book signing at gallery. Details to be announced later.

COMMISSION
60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC
All artwork MUST be for sale.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Upload artwork through Online Juried Shows to submit artwork for A Journey Along the California Coast

The is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit to the exhibition. There are no entry fees for this exhibition.

ENTERING YOUR IMAGES
•    Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.
•    Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.  Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:  www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx.  If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please write to us here:  https://onlinejuriedshows.com/Contact.aspx

NOTIFICATIONS

ARTWORK DROP-OFF
Monday, September 11, 2017; 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

*If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated date and time, artwork must be shipped.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING
Must arrive before Friday, September 8, 2017.

Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA. Box & Ship will charge a $40.00 handling fee. Further shipping information will be provided upon acceptance.
