All CAC Members – Signature, Artist, Out-of-State, Mentor Program, Associate, and Student Artist Members

SUBJECT MATTER
|
We are looking for paintings and sculpture that represent the beautiful Golden State – whether seascapes, landscapes, city scenes, portraits, still-life, or wildlife, the subject is up to you!
|
DEADLINE
|
Monday, May 29, 2017
|
MEDIUM
|
- Original paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic
- Sculpture in all traditional formats – bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, wood or plaster
- There are no size limitations.

COMMISSION
|
60% Artist; 20% Santa Paula Art Museum; 20% CAC
All artwork MUST be for sale.
|
HOW TO APPLY
|
Please submit artwork for Golden State Splendor to Online Juried Shows. You may submit up to 6 paintings.
|
ENTRY DONATION
|
Please pay by PayPal or credit card through Online Juried Shows. The first image you submit is $35, and each additional image is $10.
|
NOTIFICATIONS
|
Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or about Friday, June 2, 2017.
|
ARTWORK DROP-OFF
|
Monday, July 10, 2017; 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Santa Paula Art Museum
*If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated date and time, artwork must be shipped.

PREPARING PAINTINGS
|
All paintings must be wired for hanging. Please label the back of paintings with your name, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions, and price.
|
SHIPPING INFO
|
Out-of-town shipments MUST arrive the week of July 3 – 7, 2017. Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition.

*Artists must include a pre-paid FedEx or UPS shipping label with their shipment, if they would like their unsold artwork shipped back at the end of the exhibition.

Entering Your Images:
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.
